Can You Relate?
If that at all sounds like you, you’re not alone. At PRO Therapy we hear this ALL the time…in fact, people who come to see us have often:
- Thought the pain would go away on its own - but it didn’t.
- Went to the Doctor, only to be told to “rest” and “take some painkillers” - Several weeks later go back to see the Doctor again, only to be prescribed MORE rest, and even a STRONGER dose of painkillers.
- Been put on a waiting list after being referred to see a PT, after waiting so long to be seen – simply given a sheet of exercises, which did nothing to ease the pain or solve YOUR problem.
- Searched the Internet (Google, YouTube, etc.) for different exercises, but either they didn't do anything, or made the pain and symptoms worse.
- Figured it would be a good idea to just “take it easy and rest” because the pain was so bad, but all that did was leave you more stiff, tight and sore than before you made that decision.
- Been told by someone you trust (family member, friend, etc.) this was just a way of life, and “everyone gets aches and pains as we get older” - so you just accepted it.
